IBO Player is the official, certified application that powers every Canada IPTV Plus subscription. The complete installation takes under five minutes — even if you have never side-loaded an app before. Follow the steps below.
Open the app store on your smart TV (LG, Samsung), Fire TV Stick, Android TV box, MAG box, or modern phone. Search for "IBO Player" by IBO Solutions LTD. Tap install and wait for the green check. The app is approximately 28 MB.
The first time you open IBO Player, the welcome screen displays your MAC address (12 characters separated by colons) and Device Key (6 alphanumeric characters). Write them down or take a clear photo — you will share them with our activation team.
Reply to your order confirmation email with the MAC and Device Key. Or message us instantly on WhatsApp at +1 (514) 447-7860. Our average activation time is under 4 minutes, day or night.
Once we confirm activation, close IBO Player completely and reopen it. Your full Canada IPTV Plus playlist, 7-day EPG, and 80,000+ VOD library will appear automatically. There is nothing else to configure.
Inside IBO Player, open Settings → Stream. Toggle Hardware Acceleration on for smoother 4K playback. If you are on Wi-Fi, set the buffer to Medium. Wired ethernet users can leave it at Auto.
Use the on-screen category browser to find Live TV (sports, news, kids, movies), VOD (Hollywood, Bollywood, Quebec cinema), or Series (Netflix-style binge titles). The search bar accepts both English and French queries.
Long-press any channel in the guide to add it to My Favourites. The favourites section syncs across reboots, so your nightly hockey or news round-up is one click away.
When your subscription nears expiry, simply pay your renewal on canadaiptvplus.ca/pricing.html. Your existing IBO Player install continues to work — no re-pairing required.
